Matilde Marini-Amarchand is the Managing Director and CEO of Rama Business Solutions, an International Business Development Company, based in Tampa, Florida. The company specializes in international capital procurement and representation, inbound and outbound foreign direct investment for infrastructure projects, short term contracts, capital markets, and sustainable economic development projects worldwide. Her success in these fields led to an international expansion of the business to the Americas (USA, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru), the Baltic States (Lithuania), Central Asia (Kazakhstan), Asia (China), Europe (Italy), and the Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia).
Ms. Amarchand has been active in the area of International Business and Trade for over 19 years. Having started her career as a Manager for the International Economic Development Office for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce in Tampa, Florida; she worked closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Enterprise Florida, and many other governmental and private entities and business. Rama Business Solutions primarily focus is on foreign direct investment opportunities, by working with capital markets to raise private equity and venture capital funds to fulfill infrastructure needs in Latin America, the Baltic States, Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The company develops new business opportunities in the areas of public-private partnerships, infrastructure projects, and sustainable development worldwide.
Most recently, Ms. Amarchand has served as a part of the Board of Directors for the Brazilian Chapter of the International Green Energy Council (IGEC); and has also served as a Board Member at the Organization of Women in International Trade – The Tampa Bay Women in International Trade, The Florida Chamber Committee on International Trade Policy, The Tampa Bay International Business Council, The Pasco Hernando Community College Board of Trustees, and The University of Tampa Fellows Forum. In addition, she served as an Adjunct Professor at Saint Leo University, College of Business Administration.
Ms. Amarchand received both her Executive Master of Business Administration degree, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She has completed the International Trade Certificate Program hosted by the Small Business Development Center at University of South Florida, a Merger and Acquisition Executive Education course at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and the Basic Economic Development course at the University of North Carolina.
